Since our inception in 1951, we’ve been constantly evolving our product portfolio to meet the demands and ever-changing needs for some of the world’s largest industries.
From the design of the first ever optical Torquemeter, our business has sustained manufacturing excellence for over 60 years, setting the industry standard for the turbomachinery market.
Today we operate from our purpose built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Northampton, where we routinely design and develop system solutions for bespoke applications.
Through continuous innovation, our products play a key role in the efficiency advancements of gas turbines and high-performance rotary machinery, used by many of today’s leading engineering and major oil companies, research & development organisations and Formula 1 teams.
Our experienced teams provide project management, engineering design expertise and ongoing support to ensure a seamless transition from concept through to the installation and long-term operation of our products.
Torquemeters is now recognised globally as an innovative, high-quality engineering solutions provider for Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Automotive and Industrial applications.
Today our capabilities include a large design team using 3D CAD, rotodynamic and FEA analysis packages, a high precision manufacturing facility using CNC machine tools, grinding and EDM, 4 test beds up to 150,000 rpm with data acquisition, torque calibration rigs up to 200kNm.
