Responsible for the innovation of the first phase-shift torquemeters, Torquemeters today supplies several of the key performance-critical components that enable complex drivelines to manage thermal expansion, misalignment, thrust compensation and over-torque/overspeed protection for a high temperature, high-speed test article development. This product suite includes high-speed/high-power torquemeters, inline thrust balance systems, spindles, flywheels and freewheel clutches, in addition to a range of low mass overhang disc pack & diaphragm couplings. A number of factors impact the individual design of each component within the driveline relating to rotordynamic performance, material stress, bearing capacity and allowable peripheral velocity limits.
