Developed to meet the demands of both high speed and high torque applications, the Torquetronic ET Test Bed Torquemeter is used by the world’s most respected turboshaft engine manufacturers during the development, production and overhaul testing of their engines. Widely acknowledged for its proven accuracy and reliability, the Torquetronic ET Test Bed Torquemeter has been adopted by GE, Pratt & Whitney, Safran, Honeywell and their customers within their fixed test stand facilities.

Torquemeters offers a full standard ET range of precision built phase shift torquemeters, that are able to provide 0.1% accuracy of full load torque from 0.1 to 75,000 Nm with operating speeds of up to 120,000 rpm.

Alternatively, our experienced engineering team can work with our client’s to design and develop bespoke solutions to meet the requirements of various applications. This can also include the design and supply of high speed Tordsic™ couplings required to couple the torquemeter to the driving and driven machines.

Torquemeters equipment is also utilised for testing high speed drive trains for automotive electric motors. Torquemeters can design and manufacture bespoke test equipment with full data aquistion, control and couplings for a range of motors typically up to 30,000 rpm.

Motors being developed for new hybrid electric cars can be tested on a fully automated test stand, individually designed with the benefit of 65 years of rotordynamic engineering knowledge & experience.
